Das Cloud 47 ist eine Bar & Bistro in der 47. Etage vom United Center, sie wurde erst 2013 eröffnet und bietet ein paar Besonderheiten. Es ist eine Freiluftbar, die im Gegensatz zu den anderen überdacht ist, das wurde wirklich sehr gut gelöst. Ich hatte die Bar im Januar 2014 während des Shutdown Bangkok besucht, deshalb war auch leider wenig los, trotzdem das Konzept ist gut und ich hoffe meine Tipps zum Besuch sind hilfreich.

Die Bar befindet sich im United Center in der 47. Etage, das Gebäude mit seinen 50 Stockwerken wurde 1993 erbaut und ist 173 Meter hoch. Die Anreise geht einfach und schnell mit dem BTS SkyTrain bis Station „Sala Daeng“, von dort sind es gut 5 Minuten zu Fuß Richtung Chong Nongsi auf der linken Seite der Silom Road.

Die Bar wurde modern und mit guten Ideen eingerichtet, mein Besuch war etwas langweilig da wegen der Proteste nichts los war. Ein echter Geheimtipp wenn man in lockerer Atmosphäre abends etwas trinken und einen kleinen Snack dazu essen möchte. Der Ausblick aus gut 170 Metern rechtfertigt den kleinen Aufpreis für die Getränke und das Essen, ich werde die Bar auf jeden Fall in Zukunft noch einmal besuchen.

Die Öffnungzeiten sind täglich von 17:00 bis 1:00.

A rooftop bar in Bangkok with very good prices. The actual place is quite secluded in Bangkok and to get here, the best way is with taxi. From the rooftop terrace you get a panoramic view of Bangkok. There is also a small swimming pool here and dining areas for a lot of guests. The decor is pretty simple but at the same time cozy. Do you put a high value on good prices and the Asian feel this is a good rooftop bar in Bangkok to visit.
